Wire Sculpture

Wire provides the perfect medium for making your own unique jewelry. It can be coiled, twisted, formed, bent and linked together as decorative pieces, without any need for soldering. This allows the maker great freedom and unlimited possibilities in designing.

You will learn to

use the basic tools and techniques you need to create wire jewelry
sketch your shapes on paper and make rough, model prototypes using garden wire
coordinate various colors and position them either increasing/decreasing intensity, complementary/contrast tones.

Lesson 1: Spiraling

Item: Pendant and Beads
Skill Level: Basic II (Need to go through Basic I)
Description: The techniques learnt here allow you to use shells, rock chips, crystals, fabric scraps to as part of a jewelry piece.

Lesson 2: Interlink

Item: Bracelet
Skill Level: Basic III (Need to go through Basic II)
Description: Adds dramatic effects to simple beads by capping them with wire.

Lesson 3: Classic

Item: Ring
Skill Level: Basic III (Need to go through Basic II)
Description: Although a simple ring to construct, it does look very impressive purely on account of the beautiful, colored bead.
