Beads Weaving

Intricate patterns, elaborate pieces of jewelry are usually created using beads weaving as part/whole of the design. These modules seek to analysis complexity in various patterns in 2-layer, 3-layer and multi-layer weaving.  In the later modules, 3-Dimensional charms and pendants will de-mystify through understanding the bead maps from designers in Japan, Taiwan and Thailand.

You will learn to :

• coordinate various colors and position them either increasing/decreasing intensity, complementary/contrast tones
•  create design using different shapes and sizes of beads and various methods of weaving
• finish the jewelry using correct methods that increase its durability and ensure it wearable.

Duration:  10 hours (2.5 hr per session)

Lesson 3: Cross Item: Charm or Pendant Skill Level: Basic III (Need to go through Basic II) Description: You will make a 3-Dimensional Cross, completed as a hand phone charm.

Lesson 4: Heart Item: Charm or Pendant Skill Level: Basic III (Need to go through Basic II) Description: You will make a 3-Dimensional Heart. This lovely charm is truly perfect as a Friendship/Valentine gift.
